Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all workshops, weddings, and event bookings made with Cora and Flora.

1. Payment Terms
- A non-refundable booking fee of 30% is required to secure all workshop, wedding, and event dates.
- No date is confirmed until this payment has been received.
- The remaining balance for workshops is due no later than 14 days prior to the workshop date.
- For weddings and larger events, the remaining balance is due no later than 28 days prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For larger-scale weddings or installations, a staged payment schedule may be arranged.
- Failure to make payments by the specified due dates may result in cancellation of the booking.
2. Cancellations & Changes
- All booking fees are non-refundable.
- Workshop cancellations within 14 days of the scheduled date will be charged at 100% of the total booking fee.
- For weddings and events:
- Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the event will result in loss of the booking fee.
- Cancellations within 90 days of the event may be charged up to 100% of the total balance.
- Final numbers, design details, and agreed elements must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to workshops and 28 days prior to weddings and events.
- Reductions cannot be made after this point, although reasonable increases may be accommodated where possible.
3. Postponements
- If a wedding or event is postponed, reasonable efforts will be made to transfer the booking to a new date, subject to availability.
- If the new date is unavailable, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
- Any additional costs incurred due to postponement may be payable by the client.
4. Force Majeure
- In the event of circumstances beyond our control (illness, venue closure, supplier failure, transport disruption, extreme weather, etc.), Cora and Flora may reschedule the booking.
- If rescheduling is not possible, a refund of monies paid will be offered, excluding any non-recoverable costs.
- We are not responsible for additional costs incurred by the client (venue hire, catering, photography, staffing, or travel).
5. Seasonal Availability & Substitutions
- We prioritise British-grown flowers and work in line with the natural growing season.
- Specific varieties requested cannot be guaranteed.
- Where necessary, suitable substitutions of equal value, quality, and overall style will be made.
- Exact replication of reference images cannot be guaranteed due to natural variation in flowers.
6. Design Responsibility
- All floral designs are created according to the agreed proposal and discussions.
- Final creative decisions remain at the discretion of Cora and Flora to ensure quality, seasonality, and aesthetic cohesion.
7. Venue Access & Installation
- Clients are responsible for ensuring suitable access to the venue for delivery, installation, and collection.
- We cannot be held responsible for incomplete setup due to restricted access, venue limitations, or time constraints.
8. Hire Items
- All hired items (vases, arches, candles, structures, styling props) remain the property of Cora and Flora.
- Clients are responsible for these items from delivery until collection.
- Loss, theft, or damage may result in charges up to the full replacement value.
9. Health & Safety
- Guests attend workshops and interact with installations at their own risk.
- While reasonable care is taken, we accept no liability for injury during workshops, weddings, or events except where caused by negligence.
- Clients must inform us of any relevant allergies or medical conditions in advance.
- We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
10. Photography & Marketing
- Cora and Flora reserve the right to photograph and film workshops, weddings, and events for use on our website, portfolio, and social media channels.
- By booking, clients confirm they have authority to provide consent on behalf of attending guests.
- Any requests for privacy or restrictions on image usage must be agreed in writing prior to the event date.
11. Delivery & Posted Items
- Cora and Flora take full responsibility to ensure that all items, including flowers, gifts, and floral arrangements, are carefully packaged and dispatched in a manner intended to minimise damage.
- Once an item leaves our control (e.g., via postal or courier delivery), we cannot be held responsible for damages or loss that occur in transit, as this is outside our control.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring that delivery addresses are accurate and accessible.
- By placing an order for delivery, the client acknowledges and accepts the risk of any damage or delay that may occur during shipping.
- Any claims for damaged goods should be reported to the courier as well as to Cora and Flora as soon as reasonably possible.
